I was able to convert the section over to four columns with dash icons. You can see it here.
Two other things I’d like to accomplish with this section. I want it to look like the blue widget area on StudioPress’s Education theme.
- I’d like to add a blue background and change the icons and fonts to white. I was able to accomplish this easily by specifying it in the HTML of a widget in the Home Top area. (I removed it.) But the same code would not work in the Custom HTML widget in the Home Middle section. I don’t know why. Is there something in this widget area that prevents this?
- I’d like to make this Custom HTML widget go full-width like the widget in the Education theme linked above and the way the Home Page Banner does at the top of the page we’ve built using this theme.
One last question: We’re using the Home Page Banner widget in Home Top and Home Middle just like the Flex Demo Agency version. In the Home Top, we set the Banner to Full Width and it works fine. But in the Home Banner widget in the Home Middle section, checking the Full Width check box has no effect. Whether you check Boxed or Full Width, there’s no change. It looks like the Home Middle area has width restrictions that Home Top does not have. Is there a way around this?
Ultimately, we would love to have the ability to make any of these widgets full width rather than just the Home Top.
I appreciate your help. I am sending over an admin login via the contact form but please post any suggested changes here so we can document them for the future. Thanks!
