    Hi there,

I’ve added a banner image to our page. I’d like to be able to change the text to make it look like your Magazine Layout example. On our site, notesofnomads(dot)com, you can see what it looks like currently. Could you please assist with this?

I’m also considering adding a slider, but when I do, the formatting is really strange and I can’t get the posts I want to show up. Any assistance with this would also be appreciated.

    Thank you and kind regards,

    Jess

Do you want text to appear like here “Explore Latest Fashion Trends” – http://demo.simpleprothemes.com/flex/magazine/ ?

Are you trying to use slider in-built in the flex theme?

    Hi Davinder,

Yes, I think I’d like it to appear like that. At the moment I just have the banner image up, because the Flex Slider came up a bit crazy as is. But I will change it to that now so you can see what it looks like.

    Thank you so much!

I’m just regenerating the thumbnails now to see if that will make the images display full-width as I have specified in the widget. Currently they are displaying at a smaller width and differing heights.

OK, regenerating the thumbnails didn’t seem to help with image display. I think the text is fine as is for the moment. I’m mostly just wanting the images to appear uniform and full-width, and the text not to be cut off. If you could assist with getting that in basic order, I would greatly appreciate it. Many thanks in advance!

All images size is 1900×500 or 1900×450? Otherwise thumbnail will not generate correctly.

OK, so all images in the slider must be of those dimensions and then should display correctly?

Also, is there a way to remove the shadowing?

    Thank you so much!

I changed the images to 1900×500 and regenerated the thumbnails again, but it still appeared boxed (not close to full-width) and very thin so the text was completely cut-off.

So it is readable, I currently have images of 1080×550 dimensions in the slider. Whether I have the boxed or full-width option checked (currently I’ve just left it as full-width), it doesn’t make any difference. They always appear boxed sized.

How can I get the images to appear full-width? I of course can put the full-width images back in, but until they can display in a way that is readable to the user, I’d prefer to just leave them boxed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Deactivate the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin.

Thank you! That did the trick!

There is an issue with the mobile version, though. The image and text is completely cut off. Is there a way to rectify this?

    Many thanks!
