Hi – we’re using the Flex theme for our client’s website, and he wants a full width slideshow. I set up the 6 slides at your recommended width (1900×550) and then I added the “Flex – Slider” to the Home – Top widget section and clicked the checkbox for Full Width Slider, and hit Save.

However, when I refreshed the home page, the slider is boxed format, not full width. Could you please tell me why this would not be working and how I can get it to display the images as full width?

Here is a temporary link to the site:

Please let me know whatever you can. We’d like to be able to finish setting up the client’s site this week and send him a link for review.

    Thank you for your help!

If you install the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin then you will deactivate it.

Bingo! Deactivating Genesis Slider did the trick.

(Since Flex is part of Genesis, we have an automatic grouping of plugins we add to a client’s site whenever they use Genesis themes. We’ll have to remember not to activate or include the Genesis Slider on any client’s site that uses the Flex theme.)

Thanks so much for your super-fast reply! Have a great week.
