heya guys – do you have any plans to add a sticky widget to the theme? I’d love one and all of the plugins I see are out of date / not compatible with new WordPress updates. Just a thought as I know we have the sticky nav bar (which I love!) so I thought i may be possible.
    Thanks. SJ

Can you share example of sticky widget in question? As such, Flex theme update with lots of new features is in the roadmap.

You can try this plugin “Q2W3 Fixed Widget (Sticky Widget)”

Yeah, but that plugin has not been updated in two years. It’ll probably do something bad. Seem all of these sticky plugins I used to use are out of date now 🙁

I really wish to see the sticky widget feature in Flex theme. By the way, where can we find the plan roadmap of Flex theme? And I wish the current Flex theme version is included on the website, or at least on the download area so that we know the current version. screenshot: http://prntscr.com/9p11hw

Flex theme available in downloads area is the latest version.

We plan to update Flex theme in 2nd or 3rd quarter. Feature list is tentative, will be finalized close to the update routine.

Good morning, i need to have sticky widget on sunshine pro theme, but the suggested plugin: “Q2W3 Fixed Widget (Sticky Widget)” spin the widget outside the page.

And it do not work with a widget containing a adsense ads

    Our site is https://www.assodigitale.it

    Could you fix this?

    Try this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/sticky-menu-or-anything-on-scroll/

Btw… the way you are using google adsense ad in an overlay window at the bottom – I don’t think Google TOS allows that. You may want to cross check on that or else may end up getting your adsense account disabled.

Dang that plugin looks good – and just what our theme needs. How do we find the name of the widget to stick? Eg: I wanna stick the last item on the sidebar (or the whole sidebar).

Just check the source code of the sidebar area. Whenever you add a new text widget in the sidebar, it will have new + unique ID.

If you have trouble finding it, just reply here – will help you 🙂
