Is it possible to use video clips on slides in Flex Slider? I’ve seen some articles online about this but I’m not sure if they’re talking about your Flex Slider or another one using the same name.

Honestly we did not try the video with our slider widget. I will just say that you will select the good third party plugin (very light-weight) for it.
